About Us

        EmisHimi is a small, home run cattery located on James Island - just 10 minutes from historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina.

        We started our breeding program in 1993 with a single Seal Point Himalayan female named Matilda (Registered name - "Waltzin' With Matilda").  She has since been retired after giving birth to a whopping 56 babies - averaging 7 per litter!

        EmisHimi is a PKD-tested cattery and is currently breeding 7 females and 2 males. We are working with a combination of lines such as Peaceful Paws, Sandypaws, Sulltans and Kurtn Klimer to create beautiful, healthy kittens with gentle temperaments and loving personalities.

        We are relatively new to the show circuit, having shown for only three years . . . but you might say, we've been bitten by the bug!!
